Faces and butterflies have something in common: every one of them is unique. Every face has its own features, just like every butterfly has its own unique markings. The combination of faces and butterflies in these artworks shows and intensify the beauty in both.

The fragility of both faces and butterflies is another resemblance that connects these two. Both have to handled gently as not to damage them. The butterflies soften the expression of the face and either give it a dreamy or an extra bold appearance.
